What we do

Products

Armadillo Systems are developing a suite of products to allow libraries, archives and museums to take control of their collections and build their own kiosks and websites providing access and interpretation to their collections.

We recognise that building a kiosk application or a microsite for every exhibition or event is a costly exercise, often for only a limited return. We are developing products that empower the institution to build their own, with little or no technical knowledge.

Turning the Pages was the first of these products. A winner of many international awards, and used worldwide, it allows you to easily build a library of interactive books and publish them either online or as a kiosk. Driven by an easy to use content management system, clients in the UK and elsewhere are using TTP to cost-effectively build engaging and effective libraries.

iNQUIRE is a digital research platform, designed to surface any digital repository using any metadata schema. Coded in HTML5, and leveraging the power of a SOLR index, it's a fully customisable framework designed to fast-track your digital access ambitions, whatever file formats, schemas and repositories you use. iNQUIRE is currently deployed at the Bodleian Library, Oxford.

eBookTreasures is a way for institutions to monetise their rare books. We convert them to various eBook formats and make them available via iTunes and App Stores, and then share the revenue with the rights-holder.
